Hello! My name is Virginia Samiec and I am a Diplomated Veterinarian, who has a deep passion for horses. Over the years I recognised that bits have a significant influence on the wellbeing of horses and can often be the missing link in your success story. I became deeply passionate about bit fitting and helping horse and riders. Due to my training as a Veterinarian I developed an eye for biomechanics which is massively helpful during the sessions.
My Story
Originally from Vienna, Austria, I fell in love with South Africa when I did my externship at Onderstepoort in 2010. 6 years later I moved permanently to South Africa- which I call my home now. In 2018 I started a company called Equi-Site (Pty) Ltd and of course like every Equestrian store - I needed bits! I contacted Bombers and they willingly accepted my request to stock their bits. I can remember the introductory lessons like yesterday- I was fascinated and this is where my love for bits and bitting started. Not long after this I had my first requests and the rest is history.
